Part 2: Responding to Trauma in and through Physical Education
Participate in Part 2 of our Critical Conversations series
titled“Responding to Trauma in and through Physical Education”. This session
will include strategies and skills for educators to use in responding to the
trauma students face in the K-12 setting.Participant breakout and large group
discussions will facilitate resource and strategy sharing as well as
identifying participant needs so they feel equipped to begin or enhance TIP
education in their classroom environment.Be prepared to contribute to this
critical discussion.

Learning Objectives:
1) Participants will learn and discuss strategies to create a
safe environment in the Physical Education setting.
2) Participants will learn and discuss strategies in responding
to students who face trauma.
