Participate in our first critical conversation “Preparing the Next Generation of Health and Physical Educators through Trauma-Informed Programs” that will launch with a focus on the inclusion of adversity education and trauma informed practices (TIP) strategies in Physical Education and Health Education teacher preparation programs. Come ready to discuss concepts that highlight core knowledge and skills for PETE and HETE faculty and their students. Participant breakout and large group discussions will facilitate resource and strategy sharing as well as identifying participant needs so they feel equipped to begin or enhance TIP education in their programs. Come prepared to contribute to this critical discussion.
