In this series, Culture Links founder and trainer Huda Essa will introduce you to the concepts of implicit bias and cultural proficiency. This series is an introduction to practicing both self-awareness (our
own personal identities, values, emotions, biases, and assumptions) and
our situational awareness (history, power, context). Each of the videos in the series will build on the knowledge and reflections from previous videos, so we recommend viewing these videos in order.Although this series is not content specific to health and physical education subjects, it provides
a vital foundation in personal understanding which will influence and
inform health and physical education instruction.
