Scaffolding single rope skills appropriately
helps students be successful and continuously engaged. This multimedia webinar
begins with critical safety tips, rope choices and sizing ropes, then continues
with a breakdown of the basic jump, footwork, arm work and multiple under
skills. Participants will learn technique cues and common corrections that can
be applied the next day with students of all ages. When performed correctly, jump
rope is a medium- impact activity, making it a safe and fun option for a wide
range of students.
